Poll: Most Americans Say Iraq War Was a Mistake

Just by looking at the chart you can ask yourself: what was the importance of Iraq? were there strong points to even going to war? what has America done? “The percentage of Americans who say America did the right thing in going to war in Iraq now stands at 37 percent. Fifty-nine percent say the war was a mistake, up from 55 percent in March of last year. While most Democrats and independents say the United States should not have gone to war, 63 percent of Republicans say it was the right thing to do.” – cbsnews.com Who’s right who’s wrong?, everyone thinks differently politicians cant even agree, how can the rest of America decide. In my opinion it was an error to go to war with Iraq. Why I think this is the same reason as shown on this cbs news report: “Only one in five say the war was worth the loss of life and other costs that came with it. Seventy-two percent say the war was not worth it. The opinions of households with Iraq veterans mirror the opinions of all Americans on this question.” – cbsnews.com I believe the war was not worth the lives of those many soldiers who’s deaths have caused misery and pain to there families who had been worrying about them every second they were gone.
